About 1 out of 10 households nationally are challenged by hunger, and existing national, state and regional solutions have struggled to reduce food insecurity below that benchmark.
Focusing on local approaches, Food Secure Hometowns is developing and deploying solutions that work at a community level, nationwide.
Food Security Hometowns is a collective impact effort. We identify resources, gaps, barriers, and opportunities by engaging frontline organizations, content/context experts and members with lived experiences in each of our communities to combat food insecurity.
